Company Description
Our client, a growing asset management company, is seeking a Securities Dealer for their investment team based in HK office.
Responsibilities
- Execute trade orders in a timely and effective manner
- Allocate executed trades to various funds and accounts under management according to prescribed trade allocation policies
- Reconcile between front office, middle office and back office systems to ensure accurate data capture
- Ensure trades are in compliance with regulations in various local jurisdictions
- Monitor corporate actions of companies in various portfolios and report them to portfolio managers, as well as maintain relationships with sell side brokers
- Assist portfolio managers to perform fundamental analyses of markets, sectors and companies and to generate investment ideas
- Participate in ad hoc projects such as system implementation and process re-engineering
Requirements
- A university degree holder with major in Business Administration/Finance/related discipline
- At least three years of relevant working experience in asset management sector with experience of trading Asian equities, index futures, as well as ETF
- Experience of handling IPO and ADR trades
- Detail-oriented and is able to work in a team-based environment
- Good knowledge in Bloomberg, Excel, macro / programming
- Fluent in English and Chinese
