SVP, FP & A Group Manager, Institutional Client Group
This role is the FP&A ICG Business Lead for HK Country, reporting directly to the HK Country FP&A Head. The candidate is responsible for providing overall financial planning, analysis and decision support coverage on all ICG Businesses under HK Country, and Legal Entity planning lead for the material legal entities in HK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing Decision Support for the HK ICG Businesses and material legal entities, covering budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning
  • Ensuring analytical understanding of the HK ICG Businesses P&L and Balance Sheet - developing action plans and business ideas where appropriate
  • Leading FP&A processes in all regulatory deliverables such as ICAAP, IRE, Recovery Plan and Resolution Plan for material legal entities in HK
  • Actively supporting performance measurement of the HK ICG Businesses, through analysis, insights and investigation of key dynamics and trends, including market analysis and competitive benchmarking
  • Helping drive business results through analysis and insights on key business drivers, and supporting all forward-looking processes including the annual/strategic planning exercises
  • Contributing in strategic projects and initiatives of the HK ICG Businesses, involving financial analyses, insights and strategic planning
  • Driving data and analytics process to provide actionable information and insights from a financial management and forecasting perspective, including enhancements/automation of analytical capabilities, and ensuring robust governance and controls on all HK FP&A processes, tools and models

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in Banking/Financial Services sectors
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • Strong understanding/perspective of the Financial Planning and Analysis processes and frameworks
  • Effective quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills to break down and resolve complex issues
  • Strong communication skills to articulate and communicate multi-faceted issues
  • Proven ability to build and nurture close relationships at all levels in the organization
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to work through conflicts
