Our client is a State-Owned Group & industry leader with global businesses. They are currently looking for a Sales and Marketing Director to join them in Hong Kong or Beijing.
You will responsible for building a commercial infrastructure in order to drive market adoption of the company’s products and be responsible for customer acquisition and revenue growth within the organization. You will develop and implement the company’s sales strategy across key market segments to ensure that the company identifies and optimizes a clear path to growth. You will identify and develop new market opportunities for the company’s product portfolios and be responsible for the commercial review and drafting of tenders, terms and conditions and contract negotiation. You will lead and work collaboratively with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure that contracts and agreements are accurate, complete and legally binding, and are put in place before service commences. You develop collaborative working relationships within the organization in pursuit of the of the company’s overall business goals. And you will be charge of how the customer experiences the company’s brand and how the company delivers the best possible experience for the customer.
To qualify for this position, you will need a minimum of 8 years in sales, marketing and business development leadership roles at companies developing airline, travel B2B technology solutions such as PSS, GDS and e-commerce software. Also, you will need to have quantifiable success in competitive tenders and organic client sourcing in the Asia-Pacific, Africa, Middle East and European markets. Leadership experience in communicating commercial priorities, successes, and challenges at the executive level will be a must. You will be able to influence through persuasive verbal and written communication in English. Mandarin is a plus but not essential.
