My client a leading global credit card and payment company is looking to recruit an experienced Risk Manager to join its team in Hong Kong.
The Risk Manager will be responsible for working with the business to drive growth without adverse surprises whilst providing outstanding customer experience for proprietary and network customers in Hong Kong and across Asia. The incumbent will be required to help optimize the application of risk management for the portfolios to ensure strong credit performance and delivery of aggressive financial commitments and key customer goals whilst interacting and collaborating with colleagues across multiple business lines including Marketing, Operations and Risk Management to develop, implement and revise business strategy for risk management processes including new product development and acquisitions/underwriting through to customer management strategies. The position requires the Risk Manager to possess strong analytical skills to perform data analysis, make recommendations, being able to identify issues at early stages, finding opportunities for business growth and risk process enhancement.
The successful candidate will be a degree holder in a quantitative discipline with at least 8 years’ experience gained in a Credit Card, Payments or Retail Banking environment. Applicants will need to possess strong quantitative skills with experience of leading and performing analysis and a track record of driving results with strong thought leadership and problem solving skills. Candidates will need to have the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, to work effectively in a matrix environment and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
