Relationship Manager | Chinese Private Bank

Role Overview:
The Relationship Manager will play a key role within the private banking team, focusing on providing bespoke financial solutions to high-net-worth clients, particularly those with connections to Mainland China. They will be responsible for managing client portfolios, delivering market insights, and achieving sales targets, contributing directly to the organization’s success in wealth management.

Key Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Relationship Management or investment advisory within private banking or the mass affluent segment
• Strong knowledge of wealth and insurance products
• SFC Type 1 & 4 and IIQE Papers I & III certifications required
• Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Putonghua
• Proficient in MS Office
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exposure to Mainland China clients is an advantage
• Strong network in Mainland China is preferred
• CPWP qualification is a plus

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored financial planning solutions focusing on savings, protection, and investment-linked products
• Build and manage relationships with high-net-worth clients
• Advise clients on banking and investment products to support their portfolio planning
• Deliver market updates and professional investment advice
• Support bancassurance initiatives alongside the Team Head
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service
• Achieve individual sales targets and drive business growth

Requirements:
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related discipline preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in relationship management or investment advisory within private banking or the mass affluent segment
• Exposure to Mainland China clients is an advantage
• SFC Type 1 & 4 and IIQE Papers I & III required
• Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Putonghua
• Proficient in MS Office
• Willing to travel regularly to Mainland China
• Strong Mainland China network preferred
• CPWP qualification is a plus
• Right to work in the location
