We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Regulatory Change Senior Business Analyst .

Principal responsibilities
  • The Change Management and Delivery Regulatory and Mandatory Change Portfolio supports regulatory and mandatory change projects across all HSBC Securities Services product lines including Global Custody, Direct Custody and Clearing, Fund Accounting and Valuations, Trustee and Depositary Services, Tranfer Agency, Corporate Trust and Loan Services.
  • This role will interface with a number of different teams across HSBC Securities Services to ensure the accurate analysis and development of processes and systems in response to the Regulations.
  • The required candidate will have been operating at a Senior Business Analyst level within similar financial institutions and will have hands on experience business change projects.
  • Actively manage key stakeholder requirements and obligations
  • Clear communication of Risks and Issues ensuring appropriate and timely escalations where necessary
  • Project Status reporting to the Project Manager including workstream and work package updates
  • Execution of tasks and deliverables assigned by the project manager
  • Detailed impact assessments of regulation including article by article review and gaps analysis of each product line
  • Engage with Product, Business, Compliance, Risk, Legal and secure their validation of any impact analysis


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Experience in the Finance and Banking industry environment ,specifically Administration, Custody, Trustee and Depositary, Fund Services, Asset Management firms.
  • Experience of driving operational change and system development across Trustee and Depositary, Transfer Agency or Custody.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle with strong governance disciplines
  • Strong focus on business change as well as experience of Information Technology change
  • A keen knowledge of Regulation and the impact on the Fund Administration industry
  • Excellent business analysis experience. Have proven experience of performing the lead analysis role on projects.
  • Excellent communication skills to be able to work closely with stakeholders.
  • Experienced in applying proven methodologies, standards and tools in the preparation of Business Requirement Definitions, User Acceptance Testing, system conversions and implementations.
