We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Regional Head of Operations Analytics

The Regional Head of Operations Analytics (RHOA) will leverage the global analytics teams that support data management, production of MI and basic operational analytics. This role will allow the optimisation of the use of FTE in the function that globally account for circa 7,000 people across collections and underwriting (UWS). Additionally this role is also responsible for managing collections strategy as well as the management of data & decision systems for the region.

Principal responsibilities
  • Primary point of contact with regional Retail Banking and Wealth Management Risk teams in relation with operations analytics and risk strategy activities across origination, account management, collections and recovery functions and Finance in relation to financial performance, cost tracking, Annual Operating Plan, etc for Credit Control Services (CCS)
  • Support the Regional Head of CCS with insights into operational performance, including financial performance of origination, account management, collections and recovery operational activities within the region
  • Primary point of contact between the Central Operations Analytics team and the region, being the primary liaison for the in-region implementation of global initiatives.
  • Partner with Global teams in the identification and execution of Asia Pacific operational effectiveness initiatives for Collections and Underwriting Services
  • Primary point of contact in the region for Credit Bureau Management, providing support to the
  • Global team in the tracking of credit bureau use and expenses as well as to ensure adequate governance in credit bureau processes by liaising with in-region and in-country operational and risk teams.
  • Owner of risk decision systems which combines deployment of risk analytical models within the existing ecosystem of application and account management systems in the retail lending domain as well as contributes to building future state infrastructure of application decision systems.
  • Lead the formulation of collections strategy for ASP markets is another critical responsibility of the role. This function manages development of segmentation models for debt management treatments, contact management strategies, debt collection agency optimization and risk mitigation tools.



Qualifications
Requirements
  • Degree graduate with strong experience in analytical related functions and proven knowledge of credit processes, preferably within retail operations
  • Working knowledge of retail risk and analytic techniques like forecasting and segmentation
  • Project Management experience with ability to navigate within a complex matrix environment
  • Strong P&L experience with proven record in managing cross-functional teams
  • Experience of managing and coordinating a geographically dispersed and culturally diverse team
  • Results orientated with proven track record, self-directed, change leader, high energy and strong execution capabilities
  • Strategic thinker with strong customer centric and analytical mind set
  • Strong communication skills, good team player and stakeholder management
