Job Summary:

Developing, maintaining and supporting the Business Continuity Program in Asia Pacific by working with the regional BCM Coordinators to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and overall risk management requirements.

This role will ensure adequate business continuity strategies and solutions are in place for the region and support other BCM initiatives as required with the Head of BCM, Asia Pacific.

Mission

Major Responsibilities:

  • Project manage new BCM tools roll-out
  • Manage governance over the IT DR test program in APAC
  • Develop regular management reports and MIS for required governance committees
  • Coordinate BCP testing program in the region and assist the regional BCP coordinators in scenario planning.
  • Develop and coordinate training and awareness programs
  • Assist the Regional BCM head on crisis management training and exercises in Asia
  • Manage and coordinate the BCM risk assessment for the outsourcing / offshoring program
  • Subject matter expert on BCM issues and provide advisory on BCM / IT DR policies in the region
  • Help to streamline the current BCM processes and enhancing data quality
  • Maintain a centralized issue log for BCM issues in the region


Profile

Requirements:
  • University degree holder with at least 7 years of relevant working experience in the financial industry with relevant BCM experience
  • Excellent command of English (verbal/written)
  • Good knowledge of IT
  • Knowledge of BCM tools such as Everbridge
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively and influence decision-making with senior management
  • Strong sense of responsibility, detail oriented and enjoys working in a team.
