We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Quality Specialist Testing.

Principal responsibilities
  • ​Analyse business requirements and review design documents to identify test scope and approach and then document in the project Test Strategy
  • Prepare testing schedule and related testing activities while identifying and resolving all potential risks and issues
  • Participate in agile workshop to generate testing approach and perform risk assessment with global and regional teams
  • Formulate test plan to fulfill both functional and non functional testing requirements
  • Coordinate with various participants and teams in China to prepare test cases, data setup and test environments
  • Manage testing resources in China to prepare and execute test cases while overseeing defect management processes
  • Monitor, drive and report testing progress through test metrics, keep project stakeholders informed of test progress, issues and risks
  • Promote testing guidelines and best practices for development community


Qualifications
Requirements
  • ​University graduate with a degree in information technology or a related discipline with proven experience in banking testing area, including proven experience in test management experience on both functional and non functional testing area
  • Good working experience in banking services area like Core Banking, Cards, Mobile application and Digital Channels
  • Good knowledge of HSBC Backend Systems such as OBS and HUB are preferred
  • Familiar with test management tools like Quality Center, JIRA
  • Experience in working with various remote teams to deliver testing from planning, preparation, execution to completion
  • Good interpersonal skills and effective communication skills in written and spoken English, preferable with Chinese and Mandarin
  • A self starter with the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Proactive and outgoing personality, aware of emerging IT technologies
