Our client is one of the global players in the insurance industry with a forthcoming strategic growth plan in place. In view of the new establishment of the IFRS17, they are looking for a seasoned and capable Project Manager to be part of the PMO division to support the entire implementation process to ensure alignment of the requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of Project Management related activities within the Project work stream
  • Reporting on progress against plans and encourage identification, management and escalation of project risks and issues
  • Align vision and goals of stakeholders and project teams and provide updates of project status
  • Apply agile processes and management to promote iterative way of working
  • Oversee and validate business requirement gathering process and documents
  • Project KPIs: which will be also measured by the quality of deliverables including but not limited to project management reporting and implementation roadmap
  • Deliverables: that are to be signed-off by relevant governance bodies

Requirements:

  • Possess 8 -12 years’ experience in Project role within Insurance industry
  • Have prior experience driving high-priority regulatory projects (IFRS, Solvency 2, GDPR etc)
  • Be able to communicate with senior stakeholders within the business including Programme Manager, Project Director and other firm's stakeholders
  • Demonstrates good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Able to drive Project Management effectiveness and the ability to synchronize internal and external project team members.
