The Strategic Procurement is responsible for the management of a wide range of purchasing activities which help to sustain the company daily operations and major community development projects.

Job Descrption

  • Review and analyse procurement needs and develop procurement and contracting strategies for acquiring necessary works, goods and services on a category basis
  • Provide advice on sourcing and procurement procedures and best practices regarding procurement activities
  • Conduct regular review and carry out market and supplier research to support execution of supply chain and category management strategies for Facilities Management (FM) and Repair & Maintenance (R&M) category and associated sub-categories
  • Contribute to the on-going improvement of the procurement function
  • Manage stakeholder and supplier relationship
  • Handle ad-hoc purchases or projects as assigned
  • Assist in maintenance and update of the company's Procurement Policy and Procedures

Job Requirement

  • Degree holder with professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain or Business Administration (e.g. HKIS, RICS, HKIE, CIPS or equivalent)
  • At least 10 years' relevant experience in procurement
  • Good knowledge on category management including but not limited to facilities management and minor capex works
  • Good project management skills on multiple deadlines
  • Experience in developing process and procedures is preferable
  • Possess high level of integrity, work ethics and good moral values
  • A good team player
  • Able to establish, influence and maintain collaborative partnerships and engage in effective negotiations with a broad range of parties
  • Good communication skills, being proactive, mature and self-confident
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Mandarin is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
