Together with your team, you will participate in all aspects of a deal from origination, screening, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, to portfolio management. You will be the key contact interacting directing with the management of portfolio companies, target companies and investment banks. You are expected to generate investment opportunities and potential acquisition ideas. You will be responsible for all negotiations, deal sourcing and be a familiar face with the Investment Committee.
You should ideally possess the following:
- Degree qualified from a reputable institution.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with ideally the most recent experience being in a private equity role in Asia. Candidates who can speak Japanese or Korean will be considered for another role.
- Have previous experience sourcing, leading and managing direct private equity investments, preferably having experience with exiting investments and understanding the technicals of buyouts.
- Good knowledge of the SEA investment landscape
- Strong financial modelling and valuation experience is mandatory
- A good teamplayer
