Overview One of a global alternative fund with over USD12bn AUM is looking for a Japanese speaking analyst to join their FoFs team in Hong Kong

The firm

Our client has presence in the US, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing and invests with private equity funds across Asia including Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, SEA, Australia and India. Portfolios are diversified across expansion, growth capital, buyout, special situations and venture capital

Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Due diligence on primary investment opportunities as well as portfolio management

  • Deal execution and market research will be the key focus

  • Extensive financial modelling including return analysis

  • Working closely with Managing Directors, Investment team, CFO, General Counsel and Managing partner on investment execution

  • Travel required in area of assignment which could include: Japan, Korea and Australia

Profile

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in business, economics, finance from prestigious universities (from a premier US university is preferred)

  • Strong academic credentials are required

  • Self-starter personality, highly motivated with an international mindset and ability to excel in a team-oriented environment

  • Highly analytical skills

  • Native Japanese speaker with excellent English writing and communication skills
