Job Responsibilities

  • Implement an investment process to generate alpha / absolute return, including stock selection methodology, additional alpha drivers, portfolio construction and risk management
  • Utilize investment process to actively manage a Asia especially HK China market sector portfolio in compliance with established in investment guidelines and policies
  • Perform fundamental business model assessment and valuation analysis of individual securities as part of a stock selection process
  • Draft market analysis and portfolio commentaries on request
  • Support investment team in the generation of investment ideas and perform financial analysis
  • Proven track record in stocks picking in the Greater China market. Exposure to other global equity markets would be an added advantage
  • Handle correspondence, support business meetings and business development, preparing various types of investment reports or marketing materials
  • Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned 

 

Job Requirements

  • University graduate with degree In Investment Management, Finance or related discipline
  • Prior work experience in managing equity portfolio.
  • Preferably with FOF experience, analyze the landscape of FOF in order to identify the best selection of funds based on past performance and profitability, exposure to multiple different hedge fund strategies would be an added advantage
  • At least 4 years of extensive Buy/Sell-Side portfolio managing / research experience in Equity Market
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical and communication skills
  • Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English, Mandarin is a must.
  • Able to work well under pressure and tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions
  • Be adaptable, able to manage projects independently and ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team
