The Company

A multi-national financial institution is looking for a PMO initially on a 12 months contract.

The Role

As a PMO, you will be working within responsible for the following:

  • Support Workstream Leads on the management and tracking of the activities in the workstream/project. This includes:
  • Tracking milestones and deliveries
  • Coordinating meetings and compile meeting minutes for working group
  • Follow up with activities owner on progress
  • Assist in the delivery of Project Life Cycle (PLC) phases and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) requirements.
  • Assist in the development of project plans; liaise with Project Managers to update their project schedules and provide assistance in the planning and execution of their project portfolios.
  • Develop and implement strategy for the control and tracking of project related items including issues, assumptions, dependencies and associated costs and resources.
  • Preparation of project update materials

Your Profile

  • Minimum 6+ years professional experience, preferably at a major management consulting firm or financial institution.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, preferably within a private/retail bank, risk and compliance, finance, operations, technology or insurance background
  • Knowledge of banking products and digital retail bank is an advantage
  • Resourceful and motivated individual. A self-starter.
  • Strong analytic and problem solving / process improvement skills; ability to learn quickly and solve poorly defined problems.
  • Solid understanding of the Project Lifecycle (PLC)
  • Technical understanding preferable
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with an ability to create high quality written products that are comprehensive, accurate and tailored to the audience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization, with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple demands and changing priorities.
  • MS-Project, MS Excel, and general MS-Office skills essential.
  • Working Knowledge for Clarity would be useful
