This job is to be performed by an Operations Specialist who is responsible for managing the account management workflow and systems, mainly on-boarding clients (or account opening) of Equities Department. In which, the person needs to coordinate with clients and internal departments to complete the required steps as listed out in the policy and procedures. Data management in systems in relations to client information and service is required.

Job Description:

 

This job is to be performed by an Operations Specialist who is responsible for managing the account management workflow and systems, mainly on-boarding clients (or account opening) of Equities Department. In which, the person needs to coordinate with clients and internal departments to complete the required steps as listed out in the policy and procedures. Data management in systems in relations to client information and service is required.

 

  • Equities Know-your-client process for account opening and investor onboarding process
  • ISDA negotiations and documentations
  • Northbound Stock Connect Special Segregated Account (SPSA) onboarding process
  • Client Relationship Management system (CRM) updating and database maintenance;
  • Compliance periodic account reviews such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and professional investor confirmation
  • Client asset transfer requests

 

 

Skills and Abilities

 

  • Experience in Equities operations
  • Good communication and problem-solving skill
  • Professional mannerism and proactive working attitude
  • Good command in PC skills, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Good command in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • At least 3 years of Equities operations or custodian service experience
