We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join the HSBC Global Markets transition programme, covering front office requirements and primary trading system deliveries, as well and the business and technology requirements across Finance, Risk, Operations, Legal and Compliance functions. The role holder will also support the global PM across various other areas of the project and regions.

 We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join the HSBC Global Markets transition programme, covering front office requirements and primary trading system deliveries, as well and the business and technology requirements across Finance, Risk, Operations, Legal and Compliance functions. The role holder will also support the global PM across various other areas of the project and regions.   

The role holder will work closely with the global and regional teams in the following areas:

  • Central GM & MKTY programme team
  • Functional project teams (IT, Ops, Finance, Risk, Legal)
  • EMEA, Americas and Asia-Pacific GM & MKTY project resources
  • GM & MKTY business representatives across operating entities

 

Key deliverables:

  • Coordinating delivery of front office requirements across sites as well as monitoring, informing and directing front to back delivery and readiness across internal functions and stakeholders, particularly ALCM, IT, GM Operations, Finance, Risk & Legal
  • Provide business leadership in coordinating support functions throughout system test, proving and migration and coordinate and track the delivery and dependencies across other entities and workstreams
  • Interface with Finance teams on transfer pricing requirements, to ensure two-way awareness and delivery of business line priorities
  • Ensure dependencies with other workstreams across business lines and functional areas are managed and delivered
  • Provide updates on the progress of the delivery to Business and Change Stakeholders

 

Principal requirements:

  • Treasury front office experience, with awareness of hedging and transfer pricing activity
  • Cross-asset Global Market experience mainly Fixed Income and Money Markets products, with a strong appreciation of the challenges the LIBOR replacement programme will face across product delivery, discounting changes and migration activity.
  • Familiarity of front to back Markets processes and infrastructure
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering & managing significant projects
  • Comfortable engaging with Senior Business Stakeholders.
  • Excellent MS Suite product knowledge.
