Job Description
Role Summary:
Provide compliance and advisory support for Individual Financial Products team supporting on business projects and new compliance initiatives.

Job Description:
-Provide compliance support for Individual Financial Products team, specializing in product, sales process and marketing materials review;
-Focus on the new sets of guidelines to be issued by the Insurance Authority in Sept 2019 -support the work on gap analysis, work with other compliance team members to liaise with business and operations teams for changes;
-Advise and support the development and implementation of new policies, workflows and control processes, including selling processes, post sales operations;
-Work with BA teams to ensure system enhancements on the new regulatory requirements, including selling process compliance validation, identification and evaluation of controls are conducted;
-Advise the ePOS task force on the new initiative of ePOS v.2.0, including the Regional ePOS and BA teams and local BA and IT teams on all IFP related compliance issues;
-Provide advisory support on other business projects and new compliance initiatives;
-Assist in the review and approval process of Qualified Deferred Annuity Policy (QDAP) v2.0 & v3.0 to be developed and launched in 2H 2019

Experience & Qualifications:
-Degree holder in Law, Accounting, Finance or Business Administration;
-At least 4 years' compliance / regulatory / compliance related consulting experience with 2 years in the area of insurance compliance preferred;
-Experience in dealing with regulators, such as the Insurance Authority, Hong Kong Federation of Insurers and Securities and Futures Commission

Knowledge/Skills:
-Good communication skills in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
-Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Regulatory or compliance related experience.
-Willing to accept challenges and able to work under pressure.
-Attentive to details and reasonable product knowledge of life insurance business.
