We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager Operations, Banking Operations Consumer.

Principal responsibilities
  • Manage the back office and project team in specific to addressing account opening and servicing under general banking operations
  • Drive operations and project team to organize and deliver operation excellence to meet business requirement
  • Assist Head of Banking Operations Consumer to lead teams, drive migration, streamlining and reengineering projects
  • Deliver Transformation initiatives include but not limited to operating model design, process improvement, automation and so on.
  • Contact and work with internal and external customers including but not limited to frontline staff, Business, Compliance, Legal Advisor, law firms, government bodies and Global Support Centre processing sites on issues arising from the processing and generate solutions to resolve the issues
  • Interact with business partners for better relationship management
  • Support to manage and forecast cost and expenditure for budgeting
  • Control risk and meet all audit requirements to deliver excellent banking operations
  • Ensure quality services and share best practice across different operations
  • Enhance and update operational procedures whenever there is a change of regulatory and business requirement.

  • University degree with proven experience in managing operations, project management and good knowledge of customer accounts and maintenance in banking industry
  • Strong operational knowledge and skill, ability to work well under pressure and accept new challenges
  • Knowledge of Hong Kong Monetary Authority Anti Money Laundering and Counter Terrorist Financing regulatory requirements
  • Good capability in coping with competing customer situations and tight deadlines
  • Proactive and self motivated approach with the ability to work independently, able to provide guidance and lead team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Good spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin language skills
