This role will support the Director on the Fund services team on more project support than day to day operations. Both PE and Hedge knowledge is required here to ensure a range of interesting clients are taken care of.

Description

  • Manage and maintain regular communications with the clients
  • Manage communications with internal and external parties such as other client personnel, investors, attorneys, auditors, bankers and etc
  • Ensure monthly and quarterly client deliverables are met
  • Oversee and provide guidance to junior staffs
  • Review quarterly and annual financial work papers including portfolio schedules, accruals, partner capital allocations and etc
  • Working knowledge on Private Equity fund administration
  • Coordination of annual audit and tax return preparation with external accounting firms
  • Manage internal workflow to ensure internal processing and client deadlines are met
  • Demonstrate good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others, individually and within a group
  • Acting as one of the key resources to provide guidance and/or necessary coaching to junior and/or new team members of the team
  • Integrate new business/client on boarding
  • Other ad hoc projects

Profile

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong leadership and a team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential and can communicate at the senior executive level
  • Able to work under pressure in meeting deadlines
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to deal with ambiguities, able to work within ill-defined boundaries and able to challenge status quo
  • At least 4 year(s) of related experience
  • Prior experience in mentoring juniors preferred
  • Knowledge of Investran and VPM very advantageous
  • Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • Qualification in HKICPA/ ACCA or similar qualifications highly advantageous
  • Fluent in written and oral English with a good command of Chinese and Mandarin proficiency
