A new Monitoring and Surveillance headcount at a leading global market- VP, or equivalent level is desired.

Your new company
You new company would be one of the biggest banking group that operates a range of business units in Hong Kong. Due to aggressive expansion, they have created few headcounts into their established team to perform trade surveillance. It is an excellent opportunity to drive compliance processes and provide hands-on compliance testing and trade investigations tasks to the market/trade surveillance desk, mainly for their global banking business.

Your new role
This role encompasses high volume of data analysis to conduct program testing in determining the quality of existing compliance routines and controls across business units. You will expect to perform excellent analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of business monitoring in trade and market surveillance control.

What you'll need to succeed
To strive in this role you will have at least 7 years of compliance experience with hands-on trade surveillance, trade investigations experience at an institutional banking, or compliance audit/ compliance assurance background with sounding knowledge MANTAS , Actimize would consider as highly favourable candidate.

You will be comfortable with working with large numbers of spreadsheets and numerical data, ideally equipped with project management skills. Attention to details and solution-driven would be the valuable competences to show your capability to obtain findings and remedial actions. Good knowledge in Hong Kong regulations and procedures would be an absolute advantage. Fluency in written and verbal English and Chinese is a must.
