We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Lead Content Author .

Principal responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing a team of junior content authors and or contractors.
  • Need to work together with the team to ensure all content is built with the following in mind such as customer centric, mobile centric, and meet business' digital targets.
  • This role will require a strong team player who has excellent communication skills, solid networking in managing stakeholders as well as people within Content Studio, and a creative flare and knowledge of industry's best practice.
  • While the role will not require build and distribution of content through other channels, you will need to have advanced skill sets in AEM, know how those channels feed into your pages and ensure a seamless user journey, flagging any inconsistencies or repetition that may transpire during build.
  • The role holder will also need to be able to communicate effectively to ensure any issues are raised with the Content Producer to ensure realignment across multiple channels.
  • This is not a developer role, yet requires candidates who are passionate about creating optimal user journeys with a focus on meeting customers' needs, conversion and acquisition.
  • You will be knowledgeable in UI UX practices, have a good understanding of data analysis, SEO, optimisation and content governance.
  • Reporting into the Content Producer, you will be assigned different projects and BAUs, manage your own pipeline of work, and ensure milestones are met.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the success of digital content by monitoring page performance, and work closely with cross functional teams to optimise and excel.

  • Professional certifications in Interaction Design, Mobile Design, UX and or Agile Delivery would be an advantage
  • People management experience required
  • Project management experience is essential.
  • Good understanding of project methodology, frameworks and best practice.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering multiple content and related projects, priorities and vendors concurrently. Resource management experience is an advantage
  • Experience in complex site migration is an advantage
  • Experience and understanding of web publishing tools, content management systems and capabilities and automated translation platforms
  • Knowledge of digital best practice including data analysis, SEO, writing for digital channels, optimisation and accessibility
  • Experience delivering localized digital content across multiple platforms, especially mobile
  • A working understanding of web technology tools such as HTML and Photoshop
  • Strong analytical and planning skills, and the ability to work with multiple teams in different timezones
  • Strong understanding of information systems, business processes, the key drivers and measures of success
  • Strong relationship management and influencing skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities Pragmatic decision making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on a range of factors, commercial, risk, customer experience , determine the implications and make recommendations as needed
