Our client is one of the global top tier asset management firms and they are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager level candidate, to join their intermediary sales team, covering the majority of insurance clients in Hong Kong. Either you are a gate-keeper from insurance firm, or you have gained relevant sales experience from another asset management firm, covering insurance and retail banking clients, and gained a sound knowledge on investment and funds products, together with good interpersonal skills, to join their sales team based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with gatekeepers from insurance companies and deliver briefing to IC from retail banks, and provide fund positioning, marketing, market analysis and deliver sales pitches
  • Share key information to enhance the corporate knowledge and improve competitiveness across service, product and marketing
  • Increase client satisfaction with effective implementation, open dialogue is required
  • To be a strong team player to create team synergy and maintain positive attitude
  • Share market insights and best practices with the team and support the business growth
  • Keep abreast on the most updated market and fund knowledge
  • Familiar with the logistics and process in the retail / intermediary sales industry is essential

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • At least 5 – 8 years of work experience, ideally minimum 3 - 5 years of experience gained from another fund house or gate keeper from an insurance company in Hong Kong
  • Strong client relationship with retail banks and insurance an advantage
  • Digital mindset and have a good sense of digital channels a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to build strong rapport with various stakeholders
  • Confident to deliver public speaking is a must (in Cantonese and English)
  • Strong commercial acumen is essential
  • Good execution skills to meet tight deadline
  • Comprehensive fund product knowledge
  • Can do attitude is critical and able to take initiatives
  • Fluent in read and write of Chinese and English is essential
