Responsibilities
· Leading the System Development and Implementation of IFRS 17 project in local life insurance section
· Works with central and local project management, central and relevant local works teams to support planning and execution of delivery plans
· Coordinate with the accounting and actuarial work streams to ensure the solution meets the business requirements of IFRS 17
· Actively supports the transition of new IFRS 17 knowledge across different teams
· Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
· Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress
· Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
· Complete the IFRS 17 project according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
· Minimum 3 years of project management and related experience
· Proven ability to solve problems creatively and independently
· Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
· Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
· Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
· Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
· Sound knowledge of IFRS and HK statutory regulations relevant to insurance companies is preferred
· Proficient in Oracle, SAP and Hyperion is preferred
· Excellent communication skills
· Fluent in Mandarin is an advantage
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
