Our client is a well established financial institution with unparalleled reputation across the region. With the continued growth of the organization, the need has arisen to recruit high calibers to join them.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct competitor benchmarking, customer research, and trend analysis to identify market gaps and customer needs, define clear value propositions, and develop a prioritized product strategy and roadmap for GI and Life Insurance aligned with the Bank's strategy.
2. Lead insurance product development end-to-end, partnering with internal and external stakeholders to launch products.
3. Manage the development of an effective product strategy, with performance monitoring and analysis to refine the product distribution strategy and recommend product adjustments.
4. Contribute to the development, implementation, and oversight of policy and governance frameworks, procedures, practices, and standards to ensure quality, effective risk management, and regulatory compliance.
5. Conduct product due diligence and third-party partner assessments in accordance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
6. Provide ad hoc support as assigned.

Experience

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Insurance, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2. At least 10 years of experience in insurance product management or distribution within a bank.
3. IIQE Papers 1, 2, and 3 qualifications are required.
4. Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory requirements for insurance distribution.
5. Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
6. Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is advantageous.
