We are working with our banking client in search for a senior HRBP to support one of their business lines and act as strategic and trusted HR business partner by providing HR advice and support. This person will be leading a small team and partner closely with respective COE teams eg. C&B, Recruitment, L&D, Mobility, etc.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with the business in the area strategic resourcing needs
  • Manage career development processes
  • Identify and support the initiatives of the regional talent program, succession planning, and the graduate and internship programs
  • Facilitate internal mobility
  • Handle employee relations and performance management issues
  • Collaborate with L&D team on training needs analysis to identify and provide training solutions to employees
  • Support the year end performance management and compensation reviews
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to the bank’s policies and procedures
  • Ad hoc HR projects

 

Requirements

  • University graduate with at least 10 to 15 years of HR experience of which 6 to 8 years in a HR business partnering role within financial services
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Comprehensive understanding of Hong Kong Employment Law and local regulation
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and ability to manage change and embrace digital mindset
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) and ability to speak Cantonese
