Responsibilities
• Manage and lead the Asia Trade Support team (over 10 headcounts) for the growing business
• The Trade Support team assist the sales and trading groups to ensure transactions are properly recorded, trading/risk positions are balanced and the hand-off to downstream systems is complete
• Timely management of the trade capture workflows
• Perform trade lifecycle events
• Validating positions/risk and assisting in producing P/L flash
• Position reconciliation and problem resolution
• Assist Settlements and Confirmations with questions or issues
• Ensure controls and procedures are in place to control the business
• Liaise with other infrastructure areas including Operations, Technology, Credit, Risk, Finance, etc to build solutions to support changes to the business
• Assist in the development of strategic plans
• Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making
• Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Staff management, performance reviews, vacation scheduling, hiring, etc
• Subject matter expert with in-scope products and processes
• Ability to run and represent Trade Desk Support on large projects
Qualifications
• 10+ years of trade support/middle office relevant experience and
• Extensive knowledge of the Equity and Fixed Income products traded and the trade lifecycles of each
• Dispute resolution skills
• Ability to understand complex workflows and ability to foster internal relationships to help reach goals
• Ability to handle pressure and ability to make decisive decisions quickly
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Good communicator; verbal and written
