Head of IBCM Compliance - APAC
We Offer
  • In our team you will have the opportunity to oversee compliance risk assessment as well as formulation and execution of the compliance program for the Investment Banking Capital Markets (IBCM) business in the APAC Division. This includes ensuring appropriate mechanisms to track regulatory changes, promulgation of meaningful policies and procedures, and maintenance of appropriate monitoring and training program;
  • Assist the primary CCO regulatory engagement managers in maintaining a no surprise relationship with regards to the IBCM business.
  • Ensure comprehensive and timely escalation of compliance risk matters to Board of Directors of relevant entity boards.
  • Lead and motivate a high performing team, operating globally and across jurisdictions and ensuring that the CCO's strategy, vision and priorities are understood and executed.
  • Attract, develop, train and retain talent within the IBCM Compliance organization.
  • Achieve outstanding results by mobilizing the best resources in the most effective way.
  • Lead the team to work effectively with Core Compliance functions such as Monitoring Surveillance Testing, FCC, Control Room, Country Compliance.
  • Manage the team to act as product compliance advisors covering the IBCM business.


You Offer
  • You have at least 12 years' experience working in a regulatory, legal or compliance role in the banking/ securities/ financial service's industry, with HKMA/SFC working experience being a significant advantage.
  • Ability to think strategically and independently, excellent project management, prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and positive relationship with business colleagues and senior business managers
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Strong people management skills, drive and a passion to succeed
  • You are ambitious, dedicated and hardworking and also have the ability to multitask and prioritize matters effectively
