Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Formulate marketing strategies in expanding the bank's business relationships with institutional clients such as financial institutions and non-bank Fls in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Southern China
  • Collaborate with product teams and the affiliates of SMFG on business and product development and market penetration in Financial/capital market, corporate finance advisory and commercial banking, etc
  • Partner with credit department and other stakeholders to set up and monitor credit policy and control risk
  • Prepare credit application, KYC, report and analysis; work closely with internal and external departments to ensure smooth execution of transaction
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned


  • University graduate in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent
  • 15 years' banking experience including 8 years' experience in FI related business
  • In-depth knowledge in financial market, banking practice, credit and relevant regulatory requirements
  • Track record of leading multiple complexes, international projects in global capital markets / securities services and / or investment banking environment
  • A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills in the dynamic environment
  • Customer-oriented with strong service mindset and ability to understand & capture customer needs
  • Good command of English and Mandarin and knowledge in Japanese will be an advantage
