Role Overview
Cornerstone is working with a major Bank focused on Cross Border business to hire a Head of Enterprise Project Management.
Acting as program director to oversee the planning and implementation of the Bank’s key IT projects, to ensure completion on-time and within budget. Leading a team of project managers (5) in conducting key process reviews to achieve customer satisfaction, optimal efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Reporting to the Head of Operations and Technology Group
- Manage multiple complex IT projects concurrently and at different stages of project life cycle
- Lead and supervise a team of project managers for successful delivery of major projects across different business functional areas
- Review and make improvement recommendations on selected bank-wide processes to achieve optimal efficiency by means of procedure streamlining, process reengineering and system automation
- Collaborate with different division/departments in delivering improvement recommendations on workflow and processes
- Provide consultation and advice to senior management regarding project management, operational suggestions, and technology trends
- Sustain the annual KPI as set out for the Division
Ideal Profile
- Degree in IT, Computer Science or relevant subject
- At least 15 years in a senior management position in IT or Operation of the banking industry
- Experienced in leading large IT projects that span across multiple departments or divisions in the banking industry
- Conversant in IT technologies and development life cycle
- Outstanding leadership, interpersonal, presentation and communications skills
- Result-driven to ensure the project goals are achieved on time and within budget
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to drive different contributors and stakeholders to deliver project deliverables according to agreed schedule
- High vigilance to potential project risks and able to develop corresponding mitigation actions
- Project Management Professional certification or equivalent is a plus
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
