We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Head of Data and Digital Marketing.

Principal responsibilities
The role is charged with leading and driving customer-centric data and digital marketing strategy and plan for Hong Kong CMB (Commercial Banking) Marketing in order to support the CMB business. This is pivotal in delivering marketing transformation with the objectives of making things better for customers and improving return on marketing investment. This role drives innovation in the digital space and build digital leadership and innovative image of HSBC in the market.

Accountable to the Head of CMB Marketing Hong Kong, this role is key in supporting the CMB business in achieving their vision and objectives. The role holder will face off to a number of key stakeholders both within and outside of Marketing. He/she drives data and digital excellence and rigor across the team and ensuring resources are deployed in line with strategic priorities

Principal Responsibilities
  • Delivering the marketing transformation for Hong Kong CMB Marketing with a focus on digital and data, in alignment with Global CMB Marketing Transformation framework to ensure we are well-positioned for the future
  • Defining and implementing an integrated Marketing digital and data strategy and approach to support revenue maximization and market/wallet share, in alignment with the broader CMB business strategy.
  • Defining and establishing standards in performance measurement and analytics to ensure an effective measurement and analytical best practice.
  • Driving a culture of innovation and a culture of engineered performance based on a foundation of excellent knowledge across the team


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Degree level of qualification in business studies and marketing preferred.
  • A track record of marketing experience ideally within a Financial Services Institution with B2B marketing experience
  • A range of strategic and operational experience with proven experience in digital marketing. Able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of digital space, key consumer and industry trends and areas of innovation which influence the way we interact/engage with external customers, internal stakeholders and audiences.
  • Proven experience and strength in marketing technology/automation, data and analytical skills and customer relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strategic needs based data solutions both now and in the future
  • Proven leadership expertise and experience working in a complex matrix organisation
  • Proven ability to influence leadership teams across the business and within marketing.
  • Proven understanding of customer insights and their role in strategy and idea development
  • A creative approach in all aspects of the role with the ability to think innovatively, shaping and communicating new concepts effectively.
  • Proven ability to lead multi-function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills.
  • Proven ability to be a self starter with energy and drive in a challenging and dynamic environment.
  • Commitment to putting the customers at the heart of all development and implementation activities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
