  • Lead and manage operations of the department covering functions of credit risk modeling, credit analytics, credit compliance and risk projects
  • Develop and maintain credit rating models for measurement and management of credit risk for the Bank’s portfolio
  • Liaise with different units to formulate credit MIS processes, support stress testing of  regulatory capital, data management projects and implementation of new initiatives such as IFRS9, BELR, etc
  • Work with different units in BASEL-related initiatives
  • Coordinate and response to enquiries or requests from auditors and regulatory bodies
  • Set up work plans for compliance related projects and enhance existing workflow according to regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate the reviews and implementation of credit related policies
  • Manage the credit portfolio reporting and the associated MIS
  • Responsible for the above functions in Hong Kong and Mainland China


  • University graduate in Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance and Business Administration or related disciplines.  An academic background or quantitative science is preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in credit risk management, credit risk modeling and analytics in banking or financial industry
  • Solid knowledge and experience in statistical modeling, scorecard development and risk analytics
  • Sound understanding of relevant regulatory requirements such as IFRS9, BELR, Banking Ordinance and various risk management related SPMs and BASEL
  • Strong leadership and people skills, able to communicate and work with business stakeholders at different levels
  • Strong presentation skill, well-versed in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua
