Environment

The Inspection and Audit Division of the Societe Generale Group gathers Audit and Generale Inspection teams.

The main assignment of the Audit is to assess, as part of an objective, rigorous and impartial approach, the compliance of operations, the actually incurred risk level, the respect of procedures and the efficiency and appropriate character of the permanent control system.

Mission

The MARK Business Correspondent reports directly to the Regional Head of Audit and is a key member of IGAD Asia Exco.

MARK Business Correspondent:

  • he/she is responsible for all MARK Asia audit activity
  • he/she is the privileged correspondent for MARK top management;
  • he/she drives strategic topics in terms of risk coverage, people development and transformation plan for IGAD Asia
  • he/she develops networking with external bodies (e.g. peers, consultants…)
  • he/she is in contact with regulators

Supervision of audits and risk assessment:

  • he/she is in charge of the risk assessment on MARK scope region wide
  • he/she contributes to elaborating the audit plan;
  • he/she contributes to planning and staffing assignments;
  • he/she supervises the audit missions on a risk-based approach
  • validates the diagnosis;
  • monitors the quality of works and the respect of timeframes;
  • validates the audit report;
  • drives the main debriefings of the audit missions with the top management;
  • supervises the follow-up of recommendations and validates the closing
People management:

  • he/she ensures the development and skills upgrade of employees: monitor the performance along the year, define the adequate training program, provides coaching and training support, work on the career path evolution
  • he/she is responsible for the good organization of assignments
  • he/she is in charge of staffing employees on assignments, notably according to their skills
Delegated MIC and 72B:
  • he/she is responsible to escalate key issues to the Regional Head of Audit (MIC)
