Head, Consumer Finance and Card Applications

In this role you are in charge of all Applications related to Cards and Consumer Finance. With a focus on managing any related project development and deployments, managing the support team for Card Acquiring and Card Issuing business and regular enhancements.

Role Overview

• Manage the support team for Card Acquiring and Card Issuing business
• In charge of development and deployment projects of new function to fulfil business requirement
• Manage enhancements to support day-to-day operations and compliance needs
• Manage support of application systems in production
• Plan and manage approved resources and budgets
• Contribute to annual technology plan preparation
• Handle and support production incidents when needed
• Liaise and work closely with business users, Data Centre, Infrastructure Support team, and external vendors for projects, capacity planning and daily support
• Provide on-going supports and improvements for Banking Business, Auditors, compliance and / or regulatory authorities
• Assist in team administration functions under Workflow & Credit Card application

Ideal Profile:

• At least a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines
• 10+ years relevant experience in banking/finance sector
• Strong background and experience with consumer finance and card processing systems
• Experience in scalable banking projects on iSeries platform is ideal
• Strong project management experience and SDLC standards and applies them consistently and persistently
• Knowledge in compliance and regulations of banking industry
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated, can lead a team and be a team player
