A leading fintech company is looking for a Group Accountant to handle the financial reporting duties of group companies as well as other related accounting issues.
JOB DUTIES
- Prepare month-end accounts of group companies
- Carry out month end closing activities including preparation of journal vouchers and accounting schedules
- Prepare the reconciliation of accounting information to ensure data accuracy
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and perform financial analysis
- Assist in statutory audit and tax computation
- Participate in accounting system enhancement and optimization
- Provide cash management support
- Prepare payment request forms to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures
- Support operational process enhancement and optimization
- Assist in ad-hoc duties
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree holder in Accounting or related disciplines
- Qualified member of ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent is preferable
- 5+ years of relevant experience in financial accounting or audit field
- Independent, detail oriented, analytical and good interpersonal skills
- Team player with positive attitude and willing to learn
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English, Mandarin and Chinese
- Immediate availability is highly preferred
- Candidate with less experience would be considered as Assistant Accountant
