JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Global Markets Asia Pacific Chief Administrative Officer, Vice President is responsible for enabling business and administrative oversight of the business development teams across Global Markets in Asia Pacific. The role will report directly to the APAC Head of Global Markets.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive and support the Global Markets organization in Asia Pacific, with a view of helping to manage the administration of the team to deliver revenue goals for State Street.
  • Drive and facilitate the APAC strategy, through the development, maintenance and execution of restorative and growth initiatives, while engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across APAC
  • Prioritize and manage execution of multiple projects, varying in scale, complexity and timeframe.
  • Management reporting, including but not limited to, client revenue by market/product; client growth analysis; top client reviews.
  • Organize and prioritize information for the head of GM APAC to facilitate efficient decision making, highlighting critical issues
  • Assess inquiries directed to the GM APAC team, determine the proper course of action and delegate to the appropriate individual to manage
  • Communicate with employees within GM APAC to ensure that lines of communication remain open across reporting levels and identify appropriate mediums for addressing issues that arise.
  • Areas of responsibility include developing regional business agenda; strategic planning and monitoring implementation; leading regional projects; cross-business collaboration; cultural and employee engagement initiatives
  • Work with corporate and business teams to drive execution of global initiatives in Asia Pacific.
  • Lead and participate in committees and special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience. Exposure to financial services preferred.
  • Ability to develop business relationships, influence and build consensus.
  • Professional savvy and change management skills to help the region through a cultural change.
  • Program and project management capability.
  • Proven interpersonal, written, presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, decision-making, process/systems thinking and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively operate in a complex multi-national and heavily matrixed business environment. Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to handling multiple/evolving tasks.
  • Capable of producing high quality and/or final work product and solutions under strict regulatory or management deadlines.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
