We are currently partnering with a leading global consulting organisation supporting a major insurance client in Hong Kong on a large-scale cloud transformation initiative, with increasing focus on AI-enabled platforms and modern data ecosystems.

This is a critical, high-impact role where you will be embedded on-site with the client, playing a key role in delivering a cloud migration programme while contributing to a broader evolution towards AI-driven capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support and deliver cloud migration initiatives from Azure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
2. Work closely with client stakeholders on-site in Hong Kong to ensure smooth execution and alignment
3. Collaborate with distributed engineering teams across APAC (Malaysia, India, Australia)
4. Take ownership of technical delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and outcomes are met
5. Contribute to solution design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of cloud environments
6. Support cloud foundations that enable downstream AI / data-driven use cases

Key Requirements:

1. Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
2. Proven experience in Azure environments, ideally with migration projects to GCP
3. Background in cloud engineering within consulting or client-facing environments
4. Understanding of modern cloud architectures supporting data and AI workloads is advantageous
5. Ability to operate independently on-site while collaborating with remote teams
6. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
7. Experience within financial services or insurance environments is advantageous
