A well-established Asia-based investment firm is seeking to build its next-generation AI capabilities. With multi-billion-dollar assets under management and a high-conviction investment approach, the firm operates in a lean, collaborative environment and is focused on leveraging technology to enhance and transform its investment process.

Your new role

• Identify and automate high-value investment workflows using LLM-powered tools
• Build end-to-end AI applications (research assistants, summarisation tools, internal agents)
• Develop a unified, AI-ready data platform integrating structured and unstructured data
• Design scalable infrastructure for AI experimentation and deployment (cloud, vector DBs, model serving)
• Establish secure AI architecture and governance aligned with regulatory standards
• Partner closely with analysts and leadership to explore AI-driven investment insights and potential alpha opportunities
• Continuously evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies

What you'll need to succeed

• Strong experience building LLM applications, including agentic systems, RAG, prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks
• Hands-on full-stack development (APIs, backend systems, simple frontends)
• Experience with LLM infrastructure and cloud platforms (deployment, scaling, inference, cost optimisation)
• Solid data engineering skills, particularly transforming unstructured data into structured datasets
• Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance principles
