Foreign Exchange Operations, Cash and Trade Operations Officer
Serve as In-Business Control officer within Hong Kong Markets Operations which covering both FXLM Operations, Cash Securities Operations, Cash Management, Asset Servicing, Margin and Middle office functions mostly for Asia Pacific markets. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction / job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

  • Performs daily control processes as to closely monitor all post-settlement exceptions, cash & stock breaks for both Broker-Dealer & Prime Brokerage businesses
  • Arranges HK stamp duty payments for OTC transactions and HK Listed Options Market Making
  • Perform e-submissions to Hong Kong Stock Exchange for HK Listed Warrants
  • Facilitates the implementation of all control related matters including but not limited to Quarterly Risk Assessment (QRA) / Annual Risk Assessment (ARA) / Third Party Management (TPM) / Records Management / Continuity Of Business (COB) / Third Party Payment (3PP) & Manual Payment Processing (MPP) / Sanctions / End User Computing (EUC) / Client Asset Protection / Operational Risk Events Reporting (ORE) for different assessment units & legal entities within APAC Markets Operations.
  • Facilitates both Internal & External Audits, Compliance Testing and Quality Assurance Program.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Relevant control and/or project experience is preferred.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
