Job Description

• Act as the Fixed Income Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting client reviews, investment presentations, and new mandate pitches.
• Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic trends, monetary policy, credit fundamentals, and market developments to identify attractive investment opportunities.
• Manage and monitor fixed income portfolios across government bonds, credit bonds, money market instruments, convertible bonds, and other fixed income products.
• Formulate investment strategies and make portfolio allocation recommendations, including duration, leverage, and sector positioning adjustments.
• Perform portfolio performance analysis, attribution reviews, and ongoing risk monitoring to ensure investment objectives are achieved.
• Execute investment transactions and maintain close coverage of market developments and trading opportunities.
• Prepare investment reports, market commentaries, and presentation materials for internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Ensure all investment activities comply with internal investment guidelines, fund mandates, and regulatory requirements.
• Support new product development, business expansion initiatives, and enhancement of existing investment products.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by senior management.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in fixed income investing and portfolio management.
• Demonstrated experience managing fixed income portfolios and generating investment ideas across multiple fixed income sectors.
• Strong understanding of macroeconomics, credit analysis, portfolio construction, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Bloomberg, Reuters, and financial modelling tools.
• CFA Charterholder or progress toward the CFA designation is highly preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
• Self-motivated team player with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
