Division Profile

The Fixed Income Division (FID) is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manages risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets

Primary Responsibilities
  • Associate / VP position within the FX Structuring Team (DSP-FX)
  • Collaborating with key sales and trading partners across the firm to design, model, market FX structured solutions to Institutional, Corporate, and Wealth Management clients in the region
  • Pricing FX derivatives like (but not only) First-generation Exotics, TARF, Accumulators, Multicurrency Options, Volatility Derivatives, and Hybrid Products
  • Assessing Capital, XVA and Credit requirements of specific transactions
  • Working closely with internal trading desks in defining trading charges and discussing book hedging strategies
  • Coordinate the execution process across multiple desks, from sales to trading, legal and other internal functions, as well as interface with our clients


Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in a mathematical subject or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a FX Structurer within a top tier firm
  • A good understanding of different aspects of the FX market and FX derivatives: hedge accounting, currency overlay, volatility smile/skew etc.
  • A good balance of quantitative, commercial and communication skills is required as the candidate is expected to be involved in marketing complex products across Asia
  • The candidate shall spend most of her/his time on highly tailor made transactions, hence is expected to have a solution driven mindset and to add value across each phase of the project
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Mandarin Proficiency will be a plus
