Position Description
Background: Work closely with Regional and Global Credit Development teams on developing a strategic cross-Product FICC trade booking and lifecycle infrastructure for global use including APAC. He / She needs to have a good understanding of FICC products, trade capture process and straight through processing (STP) and have good communication skills to collaborate with global development teams in an open source Python coding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a strategic cross-Product FICC trade booking and lifecycle infrastructure for global use including APAC.
  • Work with users to provide solutions for issues on life-cycling of the trades
  • Be hands-on fixing trade booking issues in the code
  • Collaborate with global development teams in an open source Python coding environment
  • Provide business advices and solutions on new business initiatives that depends on enhancement on the trade booking system and life-cycling infrastructure
  • Pro-actively explore frontier technology and trends constantly, especially on UI related technologies.
Key Requirements
  • Strong knowledge on Python, object oriented programing language e.g. C#, WPF, Java.
  • Strong UI design and development knowledge and experience
  • Strong object-oriented concepts and experience in large-scale enterprise development.
  • Good knowledge in OpenFin, HTML5, React, ES6, Redux, Webix, Node.js preferred
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, database programming.
  • Experience in distributed computing i.e. parallelization.
  • Strong problem solving skills, ability to analytically and logically define a problem and steps to find solutions.
  • Strong communicator - able to convert business feedback into technology solutions.
