The incumbent supports the Bank’s business in Greater China, enabling bankers to achieve set objectives in terms of growing client base and achieving financial targets. He/She is responsible to enhance the client experience at all touch points (eg. client events, printing, PR coverage etc) and provide a holistic brand experience to promote the Bank’s unique value proposition, build public awareness, positive brand perception and preference in the minds of our key stakeholders, especially our selected target segments.
  • Developing strategies and tactics to promote the Bank and drive qualified prospects to our events for bankers’ follow-up
  • Deploying successful marketing initiatives and owning their implementation from ideation & conceptualization to execution
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Curate programme content and execute events in the Greater China and North Asia region, with a strong focus on Hong Kong.
  • Internal & external communications support such as events invitation, speeches, presentations, pre/post event write-ups, post event surveys, etc.
  • Internal events: Occasional/adhoc event support and social media content creation
  • External events: Full responsibility for crafting events invitations, speeches, presentations, pre/post event write-ups, event survey and tracking event success etc
  • Chinese content shall be created on proactive basis with Supervisor, Head of Marketing or GC Team Leaders to support GC target market
  • Able to read and write in English and Cantonese. Ability to read and write in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Manage and be responsible for the marketing budget, allocate funds wisely.
  • Measure and report ROI, gain insights and assess results against goals


  • University degree in Marketing, communications,  or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in banking or finance industry
  • Demonstrate experience/ potential in marketing plus willingness to learn
  • Proven skills in identifying target segments and in creatively devising communication messages/ translation copy that engage, educate and motivate
  • Good taste, a sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Solid knowledge of the various marketing disciplines of PR, branding, advertising, event management and online marketing
  • Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
  • MUST be team player with CAN DO attitude
