Position Overview

The role will be joining the Global Equity Derivatives Pricing & RFQ Technology Team in a technical role working on the rewrite of the RFQ and pricing platform for the Equity Derivatives business globally.

The GED Pricing & RFQ program remit encompasses Request For Quotes – internally (Sales to Traders) and externally (Tradeweb, RFQ-hub, client FIX, email, etc.) – pricing, price discovery (Cscreen, BrokerHub), trade capture, STP and MIS.

Role Description

This is an application development role with a broad scope within the pricing space covering all areas from pre-trade, price discovery, pricing, trade capture. The role requires a combination of strong technical and problem solving skills and the ability to work across a multitude of groups to deliver on strategic agendas for our global business. The successful candidate will be facing off directly to the trading and sales desks as well as working closely with operations to deliver front to back & innovative solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Application Development

  • Contribute to the platform redesign and architecture choices and play an instrumental role in shaping the future of technology for the group
  • Collaborate with remote development teams to build a true global team for the platform
  • Provide Level 3 support locally

Software Development Practices
  • Contribute to establish a robust and repeatable software development standards across the team
  • Participate to code reviews across all areas of the team to improve the quality of the delivered platform
  • Contribute to establish a culture of Test Driven Development

Experience / Requirements
  • Expert in software design and OOP – Java
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Some Experience in Web Development (HTML5, Angular, Node.js)
  • 2+ years of building and engineering Pricing and/or Risk Platforms
  • Global Delivery
  • SCM and Continuous Integration experience
  • Automated Unit testing experience / frameworks
  • Some knowledgeable of options pricing & trading
