You will be responsible for strengthening the D&I agenda across Asia and India by supporting the implementation of the global D&I priorities. This will be achieved by developing and managing action plans to address local D&I priorities and engaging employees in D&I activities. You will also work collaboratively with the Employee Experience Team to contribute to our global D&I efforts.

Department Description

Human Resources at Fidelity supports the business to ensure the effective management and development of the talent in our organisation. This involves having oversight of all aspects of human capital management, which includes a number of areas of expertise working collaboratively - talent acquisition, talent management and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and HR business partnering, as well as change management. The Employee Experience Team sits as part of the Global Talent Team. The global team is responsible for: Employee Engagement, the Employee Value Proposition, Corporate Citizenship, Wellbeing and Diversity & Inclusion. Purpose of your role

Diversity & Inclusion underpins our people strategies. You will be responsible for strengthening the D&I agenda across Asia and India by supporting the implementation of the global D&I priorities. This will be achieved by developing and managing action plans to address local D&I priorities and engaging employees in D&I activities. You will also work collaboratively with the Employee Experience Team to contribute to our global D&I efforts. You will collaborate closely with the wider Employee Experience Team, the APAC and India HR Teams, the Talent Team, and volunteers from Fidelity for Everyone and the Diversity & Inclusion Networks. This role reports to the Head of Employee Experience, who is based in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Global D&I agenda and goals through owning and delivering against Asia and India targets, initiatives and projects

  • Manage and deliver regular reporting of Asia and India D&I plans, activities, goals and quarterly reports

  • Support the management and delivery of one of the Global D&I strands' plans, activities and reports including their global celebration events

  • Project manage specific D&I activities and ensure they run smoothly, to time and on budget

  • Connect and manage external partnerships and relationships with local D&I communities and partners

  • Build strong networks externally with D&I related professional forums and bodies

  • Support the effective management of the local Fidelity for Everyone Networks and Diversity & Inclusion Networks

  • Maintain and track budget planners for local activities and events * Keep up to date with emerging local D&I trends and share insights and best practice with HR

  • Support the wider activities of the Employee Experience and Global Talent Teams as required

Experience and Qualifications Required

We are looking for individuals with the following experience and skills:

  • Passion for diversity and creating inclusive environments where everyone can thrive

  • Strong project management, administration and planning skills

  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and stakeholder management skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities whilst delivering high quality results

  • Ability to analyse and report on a range of quantitative and qualitative data to generate insights that drive action

  • Ability to act as an ambassador for D&I and Fidelity internally and externally It would be desirable but not essential to have any of the following qualifications, experience and skills

  • Understanding of trends and best practice inclusion strategies in global organisations

  • Experience of achieving change in a matrixed, global and multi-cultural organisation
