Convert AIA's Health & Wealth ecosystem strategy into a digital platform delivery model

-Work with Group Heads of Health & Wellness to translate the strategy into a set of ecosystem services that will be highly desired by consumers
-Lead cross-functional teams across Group Office and local markets to a successful deployment and expansion of the Ascend 200 H&W ecosystem/platform in a lead/ pathfinder market in a scalable and re-usable way and enable a smooth (multi-year) regional roll-out
-Create phasing approach of what services to offer by release to enable business units to build and scale digital platforms and super-apps quickly
-Leverage subject matter experts (SMEs) and Local Business Unit (LBU) teams to assemble the right service delivery partners, conclude commercial negotiations and work with the tech build teams to deliver with the best consumer experience possible

Convert business requirements into design and build requirements and ensure delivery to intended standards and experience requirements
-Serve as a business lead on business and design councils and direct and enhance overall digital assets delivery plans
-Act as client for consultant teams and work closely with BU exco members to create the business requirement document that aligns with consumer needs, jobs to be done and agile delivery plans
-Continuous development and delivery of the value-based roadmap linked to AIA's Health & Wellness (H&W) Ascend 200 strategy for all live markets-Champion customer centricity and ensure the design of the digital propositions and related customer journeys are infused with customer insight and data intelligence determining the development and roll out of AIA's H&W Ascend 200 strategy

Co-author local and group level business cases to build digital platforms/super-apps
-Design and optimize digital H&W ecosystem in concert with holistic 'super app' offerings that go beyond H&W
-Determine usage strategies, go-to-market playbooks, innovative commercial partnerships and strategies to get the assets useful, usable and used
-Articulate the commercial upside and value-chain graduation strategies

Build and launch the next gen of AIA's website
-Convert aia.com into a platform that optimizes lead gen, insight capture and commercial outcomes
-Create the group-wide standards and approach to add 20M unique annual visitors to the site, and provide a personalised experience
-Ensure integrate of site into martech solutions to create better outcomes

Serve as business marketing leader for all distribution team digital platforms
-Determine business and experience requirements across new platforms
-Work with implementation teams as steerco member to ensure delivery

* Through the above streams of work, enable growth in Value of New Business (VONB) supporting differentiated Health propositions, while enhancing AIA's value-based Operating profit after tax (OPAT) delivery with digital service offerings
*Expected outcomes from delivered digital service offerings:
-Increase of relevant interactions with customers and prospects that result into material growth opportunities
-Enable growth in Value of New Business
-Generate value based commercial outcomes for AIA business units with focus on initiatives material or strategically important to AIA's H&W Ascend 200 strategy
-Increase in operating profit after tax

Roles & Responsibilities
  • In support of AIA's Ascend 200 H&W strategy, lead cross-functional teams across both Group Office and in local markets to ensure successful deployment of the AIA H&W ecosystem/platform pathfinder market in a scalable and re-usable way and enable a smooth (multi-year) regional roll-out
  • lead cross functional project teams using design thinking and agile methodologies to develop validated (customer desirability, commercial viability and technical feasibility) business requirements
  • market deployment of leading customer journey designs, managing gap identification to business process level and ensuring delivery of solutions
  • lead the digital deployment and evolution of the company's PPDTR digital strategy (Predict & Prevent - Diagnose & Treat - Recover)
  • work collaboratively with key stakeholders (Technology/Digital/Analytics (TDA), Strategy & Transactions, Distribution, Marketing, Corporate Solutions, IT/Operations, Product) to design, integrate and execute PPDTR services championing use of human centered design and market leading CX
  • author and review business cases for the launch of 'new to company' services and support go to market service launches and subsequent commercialization
  • provide coaching, best practice and experience sharing to BUs in relation to AIA's H&W digital initiatives, execution and results
  • stay abreast of new technological & H&W developments, attract experienced digital talent to AIA that can develop the required PPDTR digital services and support their rapid execution

Communication Requirements
  • Excellent communication and programme management skills with an ability to present design concepts both internally and externally, where necessary
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments within Group Office and the Business Units with an entrepreneurial team spirit
  • Comfortable communicating with Executives at the most senior levels within the organization

Job Requirements
  • The suitable individual should have experience in B2C digital services, financial services. marketing and platform development.
  • Minimum 15 years' relevant work experience, of which 10 years hands-on digital service and scalable platform development experience
  • Hands-on experience with leading content management and service platforms
  • Experience in consumer and health-related services development will be an advantage
  • Demonstrated development and execution of strategies and digital programmes
  • Experience in the development of digital strategies and service development outside the financial services/health industry may be viewed favourably subject to relevance.
  • Experience managing and negotiating with outside agencies and third-party vendors
  • Technology-savvy, with keen interest in emerging technologies and 'all things digital', including a rich understanding of evolving customer needs in Health & Wellness
  • Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects from concept to completion under tight deadlines
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English. Any Asian language will be an advantage

Reporting Structure & Managerial Responsibility
  • This role is an individual contributor role leading integrated programme office resources to manage digital design, integration and customer journey mapping functions - either directly or cross-functionally and continuous development of main platform and roll out to multiple markets
