One of the world's leading financial services companies is looking for an experienced regional business leader with an established Agile mentality to re-thinking the Distribution capabilities in each of our major markets and building the capabilities across Agency, Bancassurance and Digital sales channels which will take this group to the forefront of the Asian Market.

This group are globally recognised for providing insurance, annuities, employee benefits and asset management to help its individual and institutional customers. This role will involve a core team of experts being hired at the Regional level to support all the major markets and make these capabilities a reality. This team will work in an 'Agile' or start-up like model bringing in cross functional experiences from various industries and functions (technology, marketing, product, operations, sales etc.), to work together in a non-hierarchical way.

The Role:

This critical role will be part of a cross-functional Agile team that designs and executes strategic lead management initiatives, enables seamless tracking of prospects & customers acquired through digital marketing and customer engagement campaigns and work in close partnership with functional leaders across Distribution, Marketing, IT and Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and manage an effective Lead management framework to maximize value from leads generated from various sources.
  • Ensure timely implementation of the agreed initiatives in assigned market and then replicate successes across identified countries in Asia.
  • End to end ownership to define, develop and implement multi-channel lead management and performance management initiatives in identified priority markets.
  • Ensure sustainability of the new design and solution by helping stand up capability within each market/ country in scope. This includes in-country stay during the project duration to ensure successful on-ground implementation.
  • Establish key metrics and reporting of agreed business KPIs and insights to key stakeholders. Present to senior executives and ensure transparency on the programs.
  • Resolve issues/ address challenges on an ongoing basis
  • Be comfortable working in an 'Agile' test and learn environment
  • Competitive and cross industry intelligence on best practices for lead management, talent management and performance management.

Required Experience:

  • Strong record of success working in Agency/ Bancassurance in an innovative and constantly evolving company
  • 14 years+ experience in an MNC / large corporate house with at least 5 years+ experience in managing lead management, workforce management, E2E sales process, Demand generation, etc.
  • Past consulting or transformational experience appreciated
  • Overall diverse experience in various roles either within a company or working in technology driven start-ups a plus
  • In addition to English, fluent in either Mandarin, Japanese or Korean language
  • Accomplished change management leader, able to operate effectively in a highly matrix environment.
  • Ideally a top level MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a reputed university.

Innovative and Digitally aware and open to implementing disruptive changes. Think structurally to define solutions and identify patterns. Data driven and leverages insights to make logical decisions. Ability to think in terms of network effects.

This role is seen as a springboard for future leaders and sets up the individual to take on leadership roles in sales or any other area. This role however is not for someone who is driven by ranks and hierarchies and cannot work in a flat and highly evolving environment.
