In close liaison with Group Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team based in Singapore. The jobholder is to assist the Head of HR, Greater China & North Asia to facilitate the rollout of group C&B initiatives as well as to provide C&B support for Greater China team.


  • Propose, review and implement C&B programs for Greater China region (i.e. Hong Kong, China and Taiwan) in alignment with the group C&B strategy;
  • Work closely with HR Business Partners (BPs) and Group C&B team on market competiveness analysis and provide expert advice on reward related issues
  • Propose and implement end-to-end full spectrum C&B programs for Greater China region, including incentive schemes, bonus frameworks and benefits programs;
  • Proactively manage the year-end annual pay review process, monitor periodical performance tracking against KPIs for front line staff;
  • Work with McLagan and BPs on job matching exercise;
  • Well verse of and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements like SPM CG5 Sound Remuneration Guidelines of HKMA and ensure market competitiveness of the C&B policies and programs for all locations;
  • Maintain updated C&B documents in accordance with regulatory requirements;
  • Provide end-to-end support in annual pay review process;
  • Liaise with benefit vendors to provide competitive C&B programs;
  • Act as liaison and internal advisor between benefits administration provider, HR Business Partners and staff;
  • Maintain relevant compensation and benefits data using Oracle and other HRIS related systems for salaries, allowances and benefits;
  • Continually assist in the development of systems, databases, tools and procedures for the benefit of all staff


  • Top-notch expertise on C&B practices in Hong Kong and China is a must, knowledge of that in Taiwan is an added advantage;
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in banking sector;
  • Familiarity with front office performance management like KPI setting and measurements;
  • Good business acumen, integrity and discreet in handling confidential data;
  • Strong communication skills, good written skills, good inter-personal skills and organizational skills;
  • Bachelor degree holder in any discipline
