We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Digital Issue Management, MI and Reporting Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​This role has first line of defence responsibility for issue management, MI, risk dispensations and acceptances and control effectiveness in the context of the rapidly evolving internet and mobile banking channels in which we operate.
  • The role will be functionally aligned under Chief Control Office Head of Digital Internal Control Monitoring and Risk Partner Engagement.
  • This will necessitate working closely with the Digital delivery teams to ensure robust and effective controls are in place for Digital channels, as well as challenging the status quo where appropriate in line with emerging customer requirements, technical innovation and regulatory requirements.
  • The role holder will need to demonstrate strong organisational, interpersonal, and analytical skills in order to be successful, given that control effectiveness and issue and audit action plan management will require coordination across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Finally, the role holder will need to demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and integrity given their criticality in establishing and maintaining the security of a valuable asset.



  • ​Strong knowledge of how digital products and services operate, gained through previous roles, through technical expertise gained through an appropriate degree level qualification, or any other external exposure.
  • Experience and aptitude to constructively challenge the status quo, particularly from a digital perspective.
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of how financial technology is affecting our business, and how this will result in new and emerging risks, innovative opportunities and threats
  • Strong planning, project management and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to present complex issues confidently and concisely to Senior Executives and other key stakeholders using non-technical easily understood language
  • Make considered decisions that protect and enhance the bank values, reputation and business
  • Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines
  • A track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
  • Open personality with excellent written and spoken communication skills, an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
