Deputy General Manager (Technology Risk Management)
Responsibilities:
  • Formulate corporate-level information security administrative measures according to the Bank policies to establish management and control objectives as well as control measures in various domains, and require all departments to strictly follow and formulate corresponding and appropriate implementation rules and operating procedures
  • Lead all departments to conduct assessment and monitoring of technology risk, which includes data center operation and maintenance, application system development, information security, cyber security, third party vendor management, Southeast Asian entities support, new technology research and application, etc.
  • Inspect the corresponding rectification and remedial actions of all departments, including newly established workflows and procedures
  • Provide professional advice / training to other units on technology risk management. In the event of major technology risk issues, consult the second line of defence - Technology Risk Management for further actions
  • Report technology risk events (including information security events) to the second line of defence-Technology Risk Management promptly
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or above
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT-related work and more than 7 years of experience in financial services, as well as 6 years of experience in management
  • Be familiar with local laws and regulations, practices in IT industry, dynamics of IT market and information security
  • Possess commercial and general management skills in financial services
  • Possess solid experience in guiding and formulating IT strategies and plans
  • Possess sufficient knowledge of IT architecture and business development strategies and the implementation steps of these strategies
  • Possess adequate knowledge and experience in the management of large-sized projects
  • Able to maintain good communication with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese with good communication skills
